After 15 years of dedicated service in child welfare, I've begun my transitional career from social worker to massage practitioner.
Regarding my educational background, I earned a Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Washington, 1996. Serving children and families has been a wonderful experience. And, I plan to continue utilizing my MSW expertise at a different capacity, providing consultation services to social service agencies and non-profit organizations. Also, I intend to integrate what I've learned in social work to massage.
More recently, I attended Cambridge College in Beaverton, OR and completed an exceptional massage therapy program in May 2008. The extensive training and education received has allowed me to help others on a deeper level.
Because touch is an integral part of our lives, it's my goal to offer the best healing techniques possible, while treating each client with respect and dignity. I focus on the following: open communication, trust, and positive intention for well-being. Massage is physical and emotional. Therefore, I can help with stress reduction, tension, and relieving sore aching muscles.
Currently, you can find me providing chair massage at Sea-Tac International Airport. As a Massage Bar employee, I've served hundreds of clients from diverse backgrounds. This has given me the foundation to start my own practice. I'm licensed in Washington State #MA60026926 and insured by the American Massage Council. In addition, I speak Spanish fluently.
